Selling on e-commerce platforms
Especially when it comes to selling products, it is often easier and more cost-efficient to sell on e-commerce sites instead of renting out a physical store or creating your own website. These sites are also a good way to test the waters and gauge market demand for your product.
In this article, we take a look at some of the e-commerce available in Singapore that you can utilize for your business.
1. Shopee
Even if you aren’t a frequent user of the internet, it’s likely that you’ve heard the catchy Shopee advertisement jingles while watching television. Though founded in 2009, it entered Singapore in 2015 and has become one of the most visited e-commerce sites. In 2020, it was reported that the site had approximately 10.88 million monthly web visits.
Shopee is a big hit with many people as it offers a wide range of products, from electronics home appliances and services as well. Besides the fact that it does not charge any commission to sellers on the platform, it is also supported by reliable logistics services and integrated payments.
They also have free marketing tools such as Shopee Live that sellers can use to boost traffic and grow sales. If you are looking to sell on Shopee, simply sign up to be a seller here.
